Kinga Augustyn - solo violin recital

Her program of popular pieces for solo violin begins with the classic Bach Partita No. 2 and ends with Paganini's famous Caprices No. 24. The Polish-born violinist won international competitions in Germany, Poland, and Austria - then received a full scholarship to attend Julliard, where she earned her BA and MA. Now it is her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at State University of New York, Stony Brook. March 2008 she performed her New York debut recital at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall. November she premiered the Karlowicz Violin Concerto with Augusta Symphony. www.kingaaugustyn.com
